"Incredible. I stopped by for a quick bite right before the closing. The food: I’ve tried fried sardines and spicy beef dumplings. Also got a curried chicken pieces on the bed of potato chips as a compliment. The sardines were marinated in curry and had a fantastic flavor profile. Tender inside, perfectly crispy in the outside and with a ton of flavor. Beef dumplings accompanied by a hot Sichuan red hot oil were out of this world. The atmosphere: Casual vibes with a lot of great rock tunes from a variety of decades. I sat at the bar and stared at posters on the wall. The service: Warm, friendly and welcoming."

"Been going here for a few years and the food is always incredible! The best Asian restaurant in Madrid in my opinion. Today we went and had alitas, yum de coliflor and costillas and it was fantastic. The staff are always really friendly too! Bonus points for being dog friendly"

"You don’t expect this small cool restaurant to bring out such big guns, but one dish after the next they blow you away. My top choice is the coliflor followed closely by the ribs."

"Very cool and truly a Thai experience :) I guess this restaurant was the closest I felt to our home in Nonthanburi, Bangkok. The food was amazing and brought me many memories. This is a fun restaurant with delicious food. Nicely spicy for western taste “mai pet” for Thai :) The egg"

"At Kitchen 154 Noviciado, you can really feel the soul behind the food. Huge credit to the chefs, Leo and Mary, who clearly know how to play with bold flavors — especially when it comes to spice. Their dishes have personality, not just heat, and you can tell there’s intention behind every plate. Service also deserves a mention: Steven, who looked after us, was attentive, friendly, and made the experience feel relaxed and welcoming, even when the place was busy. That said, on a full night the waiting time can stretch a bit longer than expected — something to keep in mind if you’re in a rush. But honestly, the quality of the food and the warmth of the team make up for it. Overall, Kitchen 154 is a spot driven by passion, strong flavors, and genuine people — definitely worth visiting if you’re into food with character."

"One of the top meals I’ve had in Madrid. Got seated immediately and food came out super quick. The service was wonderful and very helpful with ordering. Everything is to share and we got four dishes for three of us which was perfect. First, the cauliflower was the crowd favorite. Citrusy and spicy but super balanced. Great texture with the char and peanuts on top. Must get! Second, the dumplings were great. Wonton was thin but flavorful with such a good broth. Spicy and textured but not over top. Third, the chicken wings were so tasty and tender. Finally we got the massaman curry which was perfect. Beef was literally cooked to perfection, melted in the mouth. Curry was aromatic and had a nice spice. Music selection was great and vibes were awesome. Definitely going to return can not speak highly enough about the staff or the food. MUST TRY!"

"DELICIOUS food, fun atmosphere for a dinner. We were 2, sat at the bar despite having a reservation. Service was quick and friendly; they do time the turns of the tables so you can’t linger longer than your reservation slot. Server was helpful in answering questions about spice, but we ordered too much food. Drinks came with a small tapa, and we ordered the alitas, the costillas, and the yum de coliflor. Alitas-amazing flavor, some of the best I’ve had in madrid, especially if you like sweet chili flavor. Not spicy. Costillas- perfect balance of flavor and smoke. So delicious, would recommend every time again and again! Yum de coliflor- this was recommended to us, but my least favorite. It was quite spicy (we’re sensitive, but if you like spice go for this one) but I found it quite dry. It was still good, but not my favorite. My only complaint was the order in which the dishes came out was quite random - they seemed to randomly dish them out to the people all at the bar. I understand this is likely what helps them operate efficiently, but we would’ve liked the dishes to come out in more of an appetizer to main dish order. Would recommend, will be back!"
